About Us:
This is a Online Karaoke~Idol Contest for Entertainment purposes Only. If you love to sing or listen to others this is a place to come and chat and share your music with us!
We host several Contest that includes our Main contest "Karaoke~Idol" which is a seasonal contest that last Six weeks. Then we have our Weekly Contest such as The Producer's Challenge, Karaoke Challenge, Can You Duet Karaoke, and Comedy Karaoke. (No Cash or Prizes until All Stars)
The Karaoke~Idol Contest:
- We accept auditions which include four Categories ~ Country, Pop/Rb, Rock and Misc.
- The date the of the Auditions will be announced before each season begins.
- You may enter up to two Categories, but you will only be chosen for one.
- The auditions are by a registered form, where you will send in your song link (url)
- You may use any karaoke site to enter a song such as Ksolo, SingSnap, Youtube, ect.
- The Karaoke Idol committee will determine the Contestants that are chosen to compete.
- The Karaoke Idol Contestants will turn in two songs each week. You will have a personal song choice that may be pre recorded or a new recording and you will need to send them in by the deadline on Tuesday afternoon. Then you will have a Judge's song choice which is due by each Wednesday afternoon.
- The Judge's song choice can be found and posted by your Music Director each Sunday after the Results show.
- There will be three Judges for each category, they will score and critique your songs each week on the Karaoke~Idol Results Show which is a live broadcast in the Chat room @ 8pm cst. on Sunday nights. Then the Contestants that have the highest scores from the Judges will go on to the next round. If you are eliminated at anytime during the Contest you will get a second chance by going into another Category which we call the Twist. In the Twist Category you will have to turn in a new recorded song by each Tuesday afternoon. Then the last week of the Contest. All 12 Judges will vote one of the Contestants back in to compete with the other four finalist.
- The Five finalist will compete for the Karaoke Idol Title. They will sing one personal song choice in any genre of their choice and Then the Last Song chosen by the Producer.
- All 12 Judges will send in a secret ballot to vote for one of the five finalist to become the Karaoke Idol winner.
Fan Favorite:
There are voting polls for your friends and family to get involve and support each of the Karaoke Idol Contestant.These Votes DO NOT effect the winner of Karaoke Idol.
The Contestant with the most fan favorite votes each week will get their song featured on one of the Live Broadcast Shows. The Contestants that have the most combined votes at the end of the contest will then be eligible for the All Stars to compete for the Karaoke Idol All Stars Title plus cash and prizes.
Karaoke~Idol Best Video:
- This Contest is seasonal along with the Karaoke~Idol singing contest.
- You may enter this contest as well as the singing contest or if you choose you can just enter in the Video Contest.
- The Video Director will choose a theme each week for your video which you must submit by each Thursday by 6:00 pm. cst.
- There will be two Judges plus the Video Director that will score and critique your video on the Karaoke Idol Spotlight show.. which is Broadcast Live each Sunday night @ 6:00 cst. (which can be heard in the Chat room)
- The winner of the Karaoke~Idol Best Video will be determined by the 2 Judges and the Video Director... (which is based on the highest scores)
- Fan Favorite applies with the Video contest as well (refer to the fan favorite post above)
Live Broadcast Shows:
- We have two live shows during the contest... The Karaoke~Idol Spotlight is hosted by: Vera & Tiim which includes interviews, announcements, updates and more. KI Spotlight broadcast each Sunday @ 6:00 central standard time through out the year with exceptions of Holidays and occasional breaks.
- The Results show broadcast live @ 8:00 central standard time through out the duration of the Contest hosted by Tiffany with the Karaoke~Idol Judges... which gives their critiques then following we announce the Eliminations.

Chat Room Games:
CHAT ROOM:
- You may go live on cam to sing or play a recording... or you can just chat with other Contestants and fans.
- You will find a message board below the chat and you are welcome to leave a message or a song link for others to click on to listen to your recording. (Moderators are standing by)
- The Chat room is used to meet during our Live Broadcast Shows.
- If you would like to use the Audio or Cam in the Chat room you will need to get a Stickam account @www.stickam.com
- You do not have to have a stickam account if you just want to use the text in the chat... but you will not be able to use the Private Message option with out the stickam account.
